My playlist is getting old...I need a break from the same old songs I've been listening to for 4 years...
Maybe some good game soundtracks to inspire. What I need is music that is brighter and happier, although in some cases maybe more of a mellow peaceful kind of feeling and in other cases, more jumpy fun music, but no soundtracks that are all darkness.
There has been a little too much emotional music and I want to find soundtracks that are kind of like Paper Mario 2: The Thousand Year Door (for the Gamecube), which had some extremely good brighter songs like Pedal Meadows, and also had more mellow music like that Snow/Ice place (3rd star within the game was it?). Soundtracks that might give you a nice "Bright Blue Clear Sky" kind of feeling...
The Soundtracks I have already are just about anything by Nobuo Uematsu, Yuki Kajiura, or Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts); and a whole bunch of Anime soundtracks. These composers have a tendancy to create darker music (Uematsu, not necessarily, but I think you know where I'm going with this ;/) so I'm looking for something more Nintendo-y.
So Windwaker, in this case, would beat out Twilight Princess just for the sake of brightness in tone. Looking for Video Game soundtracks whether they are brand new, or maybe even soundtracks dating all the way back to Atari.
