i remember when i first started using the internet i came here and left immediately before even registering because of creepy mekess/that other guy posts

mekesss fucking sucked. there's no real way around it. he was a really stupid guy and he was the first person I disliked on gw because I bumped an hour old locked topic and said WHOS HEARD OF A CRICKET PS1 GAME or something and he got mad and was like THATS NOT MODLY and he was right but fuck him dude couldn't even say that in private?

this was my first interaction with mekesss and then he had a heart attack on GW Radio and then slowly revealed himself to be more pathetic than rage inducing. this is my mekesss story.

I met RG four years ago and honestly she's a nice enough person. I understand her husband's a little strange and mean as it is I wouldn't be like BEST PERSON EVER or GOTTA MEET HER SO HOT or anything but she was really nice and we ate at some vegan place. I do think she was way too trusting though; like we walked through some pretty abandoned fucking places alone together and I kept thinking man

so that's my story.

this is kind of why I always have a lowyield "you dorks" whenever a GW meet topic that doesn't look like Shep's rolls around because arrogant as it is I think I'm an average to okay person when I first meet people and I can't help but feel that RG meet was kind of lame and I wouldn't PAY EXTRA for it and you guys actually truck over and play Guitar Hero and shit and it's unfathomable to me.

Chef was cool though we were on at least a friends wavelength but having Sredni there helped too and then I was also really really sick and no one knew. that could have been a much better meet all around but yeah that's my old time GW memories! I also came alarmingly close to meeting Hundley but in retrospect it was probably for the best we didn't because I embarassingly had a lowgrade hero worship of him as far as FORUM PEOPLE can go and I bet I would have freaked him out as he was graduating at the time.

I also apparently met bloodbath at a PT concert and we didn't know but I later confirmed he was standing in front of one of the three black guys and I probably saw him. if he had known i was there he would have seen me.

I would meet hundley, chug some cough syrup, and go to the batting cages

i used to think that picture of the fat naked guy on a computer was actually a picture of mekesss.  I'm not sure why; somebody may have been making fun of him and I believed it.  to this day that is the image that comes up every time somebody mentions mekesss.

I remember joining sometime in 2001, then forgetting about my account, then making this one sometime later...

The thing I miss the most was when Bart, Faust, a bunch of other guys, and me would get on webcams and do all kinds of stupid shit, like compare shirts or whatever else was laying around our computers.  Sometimes it got really weird though...

Then there was #blooguy or something, and some really bizarre plans for GW were made there.  We'd have really late night discussions about what GW could do, and like none of them ever went anywhere.  Pretty much everyone who had access to #blooguy is gone now.  I think it's just Mateui and I who are still around.
