I thought it was very good until the twist and after that it kept going downhill, although it was still pretty entertaining. Overall it was still good and if the whole movie was as good as the first half, I'd even say it was great. Will Smith did a good job but I think he's a good actor so w/e, the plot ruined the end. I agree that it was interesting that there was no real villain in the movie plus yeah, Hancock's character was interesting.

I pretty much counted those guys as villains. I mean they weren't SUPERVILLAINS but they pulled the same OH LOOK OMINOUS KNIFE thing they were pretty much villains.

I just saw it tonight and I liked it. You know, I liked the midway change in direction because without it the movie would have gotten stale and become a typical superhero movie with a 'superhero vs bad guys' plot. I found the scene after the credits to be a little weird in its context.. was it just a random humourous scene or does it signal for a sequel? I don't know what direction they can take the story, but regardless, if it does happen I'll go see it. I really enjoyed Hancock's character.

I felt that this movie was really good until it got to the feuding part between his new and only friends wife and himself (hancock)

Up to that point the movie proved itself to be very entertaining and comedic but after that it kind of shut out the fun of the film.

To be honest I almost didn't like it.

Well it doesn't mean I didn't like it I just felt with the way it ended up it wasn't what they were promoting, it felt like a big letdown to me... thats all.
