Well gettin a ps3 in a week, getting a second controller + the blue ray remote and I have enough for 1 game, the total for all of this + my computer college I'm left with $114.58 and yes I even added the tax for the items.

So yea, recommend me some good games.

The best PS3 game is Grand Theft Auto 4, no competition. The second best PS3 game (and the best exclusive) is Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Those are the only PS3 games I would really really recommend right now, though Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, Devil May Cry 4 and Burnout Paradise are all good. Those are the only PS3 games I have played.

It is, but I don't remember my username at the moment and can't check because my friend has my PS3.

except mgs4 comes out in 3½ weeks.

GTA4 is really horrible. Uncharted is awesome, so are Folklore and Ratchet and Clank.  Also MGS4 hits worldwide on June 12 and since it's already gone gold I doubt it will be delayed.

If you have a 360, your better off getting the games i kindly bolded for you on the 360. Most of them control better and/or don't have a long install time(even though DMC4 ps3 has no load times after install, its just a pain that it takes up SOOOO much space).

Hahah dude are you pretending because I would be REALLY shocked if anyone in the world thought it was a legitimately horrible game.

I would recommend Ninja Gaiden Sigma if you never played Ninja Gaiden because it's a really incredibly good game.  However it was the worst character design and plot and dialogue ever.

The Euphoria engine is the only cool thing about the game.  The controls are horrible, the sound is horrible, the cover system is clunky and not fluid at all (also the controls for it are horrible), the hand to hand is meh, the driving physics are good... but if the controls are horrible...

It's like they just took systems from other games but made them horrible.

Also, Assassins is ok, but it gets VERY repetitive.

Call of Duty 4 has AWESOME online.

Unreal Tournament 3 is cool if you don't have a PC that can run it simply because of the mods, I love playing it 2D Metroid style.

I disagree about everything TheHunter said. The only thing he's even remotely right about is the cover system, and it simply isn't perfect, I still think it's pretty good and definite improvement over previous GTA games.

I have a 7.1 BOSE setup and I use my PS3 for damn near all my media purposes and the sound has to be turned up high for me to hear wtf they are saying and it just sounds like crap.

There are plenty of other people that are in agreement with me, everything that GTA does another game does it better period.

Regardless, consider how it all meshes things together in unison as one game. In this lies the true beauty of the game.
