I'm trying to make this a legitimate topic. So what I'm going to do is post the truth about Gun Control, and if you're wrong...I'd like to see why you think you're right.

Firstly, what if we got invaded? What are you going to do? Turn to the military.. great. Good job. What if the military isn't in BFE where you live? Do you think that the NATIONAL GUARD aka Weekend Soldiers will save you? Haven't you seen Rambo?

Secondly, Hillary Clinton is a moron. Evidently, I have to post WHY she is a moron. She wants to BAN _ALL_ semi-automatic weapons, so does Blacky Barack. I'm not racist, however, he is black. I love Kevin Eubanks, even tho Max Weinberg is waay cooler. What would this solve? Nothing.

Moreover, what would banning guns accomplish? What do you think the criminal will think? "Boy! Using this illegal gun might put me in jail? Maybe I should rob this person without a gun!" If you think this, consider yourself mentally challenged. Criminals do not give a FUCK about breaking the law. Look at Washington DC for an example. Crime rates INCREASED after guns were abolished. Whoa!! This means the criminals gathered around a campfire and it went a little like this: "Bro!! Citizens of DC aint's gots no guns! They can'ts stops us, froms robbins them, nigga!" Then all hell broke loose.

This means that if law abiding citizens stopped owning guns, the criminals, who by the way have no regard to the law, will still own them. Do you get this?!

It's true that disallowing handguns causes an immediate crime spike in the U.S. (this has been tested several times before) but that's because it's really your culture that needs to change badly.

If you did not have such a terrible habit of procuring guns and shooting them whenever you feel like it, you wouldn't have such ridiculously high (Krug et al. 1998) fatality rates.

This guy exemplifies how little people know what kind of situation their country is in. Maybe they don't know of the high amount of handgun-related deaths, or maybe they believe it's a necessary evil to be able to "protect themselves". Maybe they think that criminals will always continue to have guns long after they're banned. In the Netherlands, where there has never been a gun culture, there are very few criminals who own a weapon, as they're much more difficult to get, expensive, and can land you a very severe punishment if you're caught having one or even committing a crime with one. This, in turn, accounts for the low amount of handgun-related deaths, as criminals are the ones who go around killing people.
