Maybe if it weren't ugly as all sin, there would be some quality present in this to make it worth watching on at least some level.

How do you not make something better-looking than that just by accident even

I gave up on Star Wars after Ep. Three. Number one did some heavy damage to me, and two just added salt to the wounds, but three performed a nice hefty fatality to me. I am awaiting some nasty reviews on tomatoes after this is released.

I saw this just before and it was pretty terrible. The dialogue was atrocious, the story was really throwaway and Ahsoka is probably the most annoying Star Wars character in history. It was so dumbed down and simplified - it felt like a made for TV kids special.

The fighting wasn't bad and it wasn't too long. Sometimes the visual style was awesome as well, but sometimes it wasn't.

Maybe I'm being too harsh but I do like Star Wars and this was just crap crap crap to me.

Yes, this was a horrible movie. I went in expecting nothing and got pretty much nothing in return. The animation was really, really not that hot and yeah, like PTizzle said, jesus christ the dialogue. Oh god.

I heard that this is actually going to bridge the gap to a new Clone Wars mini-series made by the same animation team.

What happened to the Samurai Jack guys?  Their little mini-series was kick ass and better than the last three Star Wars movies combined.

Seriously, Lucas is just milking the shit out of Clone Wars because he refuses to use material from the Extended Universe or because he's fucking batshit insane.  Pick one.  I'm tired of Clone Wars because I already know the end result: all but two Jedi die and any that escaped or had some hazy background were either killed by Darth Vader in the EU or this new "Starkiller" guy in Force Unleashed kills them (before getting killed himself).

How does Lucas expect us to take these plots seriously and be entertained when we already know that the DUDES ARE GOING TO DIE.

I couldn't help but think of the following video when I read this topic:

The guy playing George Lucas has me cracking up every time I watch this.

I saw it and I didn't think it was terrible but it was still flawed. The dialogue was ear grating , it was trying too hard to be funny 80% of the time. That new character ahsoka was fucking annoying and the worst part is that she has waaaay to much screen time. Now about the action, there was a bit too much but they were enjoyable to watch(an AT-TE can walk on walls?!) and the designs for the clones and droids were pretty good. So yea not a bad movie but neither is it good and I will probably not watch the TV series if it keeps most of the bad things in.

Holy shit the animation in this movie is not much better than the original Toy Story.

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

I only like episodes 4, 5, and 6, and quite frankly this looks awful, so I am passing on this one

For a TV show I liked it. I mean if it had been something created on a normal movie budget and not just the series premeire of a TV show put on a movie screen I might be more hard on it but as far as TV shows go nowadays it was pretty good and I'll probably watch the actual show when it comes out.
Yeah I couldn't help but chuckle after I started watching it and realised that The Force Unleashed, a video game playable in real-time has better graphics than a movie both made by the same company but still it does what a TV show is s'pose to do for me (pretty much hold my attention long enough to waste 30 minutes to an hour of my time).

BTW I have some questions about Ahsoka (or however you spell that, these SW names kill me). I noticed she holds her lightsaber in a back position, Starkiller holds his like that as well. Is this something I just hadn't noticed before or are they the only 2 jedi to actually do this?
And does she die before Episode 3 or are they just retconning everything to add her to the fiction cause I don't remember her being in it nor do I remember Anakin mentioning anything about ever having a padawan. I think I remember there was a jedi girl that's the same species as her that the clones (or Anakin, I'm not sure) kill after they all go postal but I'm pretty sure that's not her.

That's the Shien lightsaber technique. Yeah, you're right, they both use it. I guess the Lucasarts guys have become pretty fond of it! But yeah, Ahsoka has been written in specifically for the Clone Wars media, and isn't killed in Episode III (doesn't appear) - that's apparently someone called Ashla.

Yeah I saw this because I really had nothing to do, and I regret it. It had a terrible, TERRIBLE story, with a gay cross-dressing Jabba and easily the stupidest dialog in any Star Wars movie ever. I'm not like an avid fan of the series but I enjoy it, and this is so so bad. Every other comment out of someone's mouth is meant to be some sort of pun, or joke, or witty comment, but absolutely none of them are funny in the slightest. Even as a precursor for the show, it really wasn't necessary to port it to theaters. It's just really, really, really bad.
