well the reason i remember it so well, other than that story, is because it was just after we got our first computer and it was one of my first games. i never got past the first level because i was horrible, because i was 5, and because i was playing with a joystick, but i remember being able to transform into a jet at will, which was one of the most ridiculous things ever and totally blew my mind.

What you just posted.. It looks like the original Shining Force. Maybe for Game Gear or something because of how close the windows are.

Sorry, I was referring to the third installment on Gamegear, Shining Force Gaiden: Final Conflict.
