What? I can see like no reason for a game to have been banned in Australia unless it is VIOLENTLY ANTI-ABORIGINE or something.
We dont have an R18+ Rating on Video games.
Anything that gets that is banned. And occasional ones that are just complete violence.
But really for them to get an R18+ Rating they must contain Sexual Violence or something to that effect.
Occasionally Ratings people might decide that little children torturing each other and lesbian undertones might be abit much for the Australian public.
It doesn't bother me much that we dont have an R rating because to be honest no really good games have been banned, most of the ones that are you would find in some dirty little hobby store or possibly even a porn store, i doubt they would make it into mainstream stores. The ultraviolent ones manage to worm their way in if they include a "No blood" feature or a way to tone down the dismemberment, But personally i feel the ratings board has gotten abit slack. Back in the day they were outraged at the amount of violence in Soldier of fortune. Nower days they dont even blink at that shit anymore.
Oh and Chase the express was pretty fun.
Kinda like Resident evil with Guns.
I rather liked it.
I should hunt it down again see how it plays on PSP
