MGS3: Subsistence is not a remake of Metal Gear 2. It is Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater but with alot of new features/bonus content. One of which is the first official translated editions of Metal Gear 1 and 2 available in the USA. However, Metal Gear 2 has changed weapon names and some changed graphics(Such as character portraits).

I know what MGS3:S is I was saying is it the remake of MG2 on it (and apparently it wasnt a remake)

It's the original, because the newer one had prerendered Naked Snake face and truetype fonts and shit. I liked the older faces better because they were so damn GRITTY and such, but Big Boss totally looked like Sean Connery to the point of being traced from a photograph so that would kind of be a legal issue for Konami. Also Kio Marv was traced from a photo of Einstein.
