Close enough. The game is literally called LSD. It's a Jap-only Playstation game, but seems 'playable' without knowing Japanese, so I posted it.

It's a "dream simulator" or so they call it.

I thought that Lagoon was an okay game. The attack range was like . . . pretty game-breaking or whatever, but I thought it was alright.

About the only thing good I can remember is that maybe there were some big sprites and stuff. But all in all I thought it was like Zelda without the cartoony charm, and Soul Blazer without all the weird levels and the little Simcity thing that game had going on.

Soulblazer was great, although I wish it made me feel a little more "involved" than it did. Kind of hard to explain but it was missing a certain epicness.

Could just be because the translations at that time really sucked.
