So yeah, perusing Neogaf I came across the title of this game and was like "WTF" but interested nonetheless so I clicked in and checked out what is apparently an upcoming Nintendo DS shooter (think in the style of Sin and Punishment) where you play as one of two fictional characters (a gun-toting Little Red Riding Hood or shuriken tossing Peach Boy) and pretty much traverse an awesomely perverted world of fairy/folk tale elements and hordes of the undead.  Check the official site for more info as well as pics of the main characters and enemies including small descriptions and bios for them.  And yeah, according to the publisher's press release it seems Pinnochio is now a bloody thirsty cyborg among other things and considering Red's grandmother, the story is likely not going to end the same way.  ​

The other day I said something my friend misunderstood for "Barbeque Zombies," and we laughed because are Barbeque Zombies zombies that eat barbeque, or zombies that have been barbequed?

But as far as this game goes, the concept is cool, but I really think they could've put more thought into the characters and plot.

That character art alone makes this game shit in my eyes. I mean Jesus it's a fucken kids story, I would have never pictured Red Riding Hood to be.. slutty!?

Well, to be fair, in the original fairy tale (at least, I'm pretty sure it was Little Red Riding hood), she does have sex with the wolf before the woodsman arrives.
So I guess she was originally kinda whore-y.
Also, just looking at her 'chibi' image makes me feel like a pedophile

Well, I'm not expecting a GotY here, but the game just sounds pretty damn hilarious and I'm not exactly averse to the kind of shooter design it has. (well, save for that one alien game on the GCN which kind of sucked)  It seems kind of obvious that it's more of a comedy effort than anything else.  I mean, come on now, Cyborg Pinnochio?
