Create a new profile by running Firefox with the -P command line argument, choose the "Manage Profiles" button and then choose "Create Profile...". Migrate your settings files (Bookmarks, Saved Passwords, etc) over one by one, checking each time to see if the problems resurface.

After a quick google search, it still has some bugs in it. I would suggest either going back to Firefox 2 or gritting your teeth and sticking with it till it gets patched/revised.

I'm too lazy to make another Firefox topic so I'll post two firefox questions here since all the ff junkies are here anyway. :-)

1. Is it possible to make it so that when I close a tab, it returns to the tab I had checked before instead of switching to the tab next to the one I closed? It does that sometimes but usually not and I don't really get it.
2. In Opera, you could hold down left/right mouse button and press the other one to go back/forward. Cliff said there's some similar plugin for firefox but I haven't found one. This was one of the best features for Opera so he;lp?
