It keeps clearing my cookies everywhere even though I have it set not to, and some images don't load. It's only been doing this recently, too. What's the problem?

After a quick google search, it still has some bugs in it. I would suggest either going back to Firefox 2 or gritting your teeth and sticking with it till it gets patched/revised.

This is a pretty critical bug and no one else I know has it, so I am sure it can be fixed without forcing him to downgrade.
Obvious questions are, have you tried reinstalling it,
if not that, then have you tried clearing your current profile or creating a new one.

Quote
Create a new profile by running Firefox with the -P command line argument, choose the "Manage Profiles" button and then choose "Create Profile...". Migrate your settings files (Bookmarks, Saved Passwords, etc) over one by one, checking each time to see if the problems resurface.

Have you tried manually clearing your cookies/temp cache, or increasing the max allowable size for each of them? Try changing your cookie/temp cache directories if possible, and double check the permissions on them.

Pages not loading all the way (CSS, images, and similar things not loading, just text) has happened to me with both Firefox 2 and Firefox 3.  Usually restarting Firefox fixes it for me though.

I don't think you understand software development very well.

I'm too lazy to make another Firefox topic so I'll post two firefox questions here since all the ff junkies are here anyway. :-)

1. Is it possible to make it so that when I close a tab, it returns to the tab I had checked before instead of switching to the tab next to the one I closed? It does that sometimes but usually not and I don't really get it.
2. In Opera, you could hold down left/right mouse button and press the other one to go back/forward. Cliff said there's some similar plugin for firefox but I haven't found one. This was one of the best features for Opera so he;lp? :(

trying out firefox 3 because sometimes opera is really slow and it started to bug me.

DS Have you tried Opera 9.5?
Also, in Opera... Set the memory cache to something not "Auto" and in Opera:config turn off the "Turbo mode"... That should increase performance a lot.

Nah, I haven't tried 9.5 But the problem has been there with each and every version of Opera. I'll try what you suggested but for now I'll keep using FF3 and see if it's any good.

Yeah this bothers me a lot and I have been looking for a solution but no luck.

I could have sworn it did that usually when I did that. I don't know.

I am still using 2 and Mine will stop using my saved passwords, even know they will still be in my list. And this one is worse...It will reset my proxy settings...that shit pisses me off because it does not just do it at the beginning of a new session, but sometimes in the middle of browsing.
