you guys are some fucked up people.

call me crazy but it sounds like both mkkmypet and strangeluvs TELL ALLS are a bit dramatized. we have strangeluv who ATTACKS PEOPLES THROATS and WATCHES PARENTS SLEEP WITH BUTCHER KNIFE and mkkympet who in the sixth grade started cutting herself!!

Mine is watered-down, actually. I didn't even talk about my relationships.

I could feel for mkkmypet though because I knew a girl like that and she told me her whole story and the reactions and behaviour (even the whole phobia thing) were similar and it's really sad that happens for young children and they have to deal with it by themselves.

the thing about mkkmypet is i have a sister who is only a bit older than she is and speaking from experience they tend to exaggerate and dramatize things to an extreme! i'm not saying she's LYING or whatever but my sister at least tends to totally blow things out of proportion and kind of not even realize how much she is doing it.

well sorry if the way i wrote it is overdramatized or something. uhhh i mean it's all the truth and there'd really be no reason to lie about it...? what, for like e-sympathy or something? maybe it would have been that if i was talking about it WHILE it was happening, but now it's just kinda... huh i dunno how to explain.

EDIT:

uh yeah but about stuff like THIS? sure kids exaggerate about things a lot, but usually it's to impress people or whatnot. i mean, go ahead and think i'm doing this for e-sympathy if you want, but it's really not.

I am too scared to read this topic because I have a tendency to get emotionally connected to GW members if I know about their personal lives/stories. Very SELFISH of me but I don't have the time and mental state to get upset and sad over more GW things right now...

I just hope you guys have gotten over your childhood hurdles and things are better now!

that's the thing. maybe we don't see them as "intensely personal" now. years ago, i would never have told ANYONE. but now, like i said before, i'm starting to see these things as mere events in the past that don't need to impact me any more than they already did. telling others about it all is just a way to further make it seem like that. the more you tell, the less scary it is to think about.

EDIT: also for my story i was kinda trying purposely to NOT make it seem dramatic. i mean, i was like "yeah so that year sucked". i was being pretty casual about it.

btw i think its pretty bad when people accuse women from overdramatizing rape. its a pretty sexist thing to do because rape is pretty serious and a lot of rape victims feel conrered because everyone is like "hehy she is a woman she lies and overblows..........!"-

Woah man Strangeluv I don't even know why you have a relationship with your dad now days. I don't know why everyone is getting so pent out of shape, they want to express something what is the big deal, alot of your posts read like people being ignorant dicks! Yeah maybe certain people are being over the top but being raped is kinda a big deal

this is true but you're in your second year of college right and you've got to be lying if you tell me you haven't met at least three girls who told you their molestation story within like a week.

broken goods two bucks off!

yeah ok still being an attention whore.

here's the thing guys NO ONE REALLY CARES ABOUT THIS SHIT. this IS wackfiend level topic stuff, and as a whole it's kind of getting a let because it's more intense than girl vs shoes but what are you doing, really? I really hope no one's going to conflate this and be like WHY DO WE CARE ABOUT ANYTHING but this is all your past garbage. go to therapy! deal with it! but what are you doing just telling us this? who the fuck am I or anyone that you think we have anything genuine to offer other than "omg...thats horrible XD"? this isn't something ongoing and I'm going to be a dick and say maybe some overdramatization would make these stories more interesting to read because as it is it's just a few steps up from a bulleted list (enough to make it uncomfortable) and not nearly close enough to something I'd recommend someone read.

I got arrested because of a Hundley edited Pokey the Penguin comic, Y2Dazz quotes, and an Adeline targ reply and I still didn't think that story was interesting enough (basically because that's where the funny part stops and it's just some crazy girl thinking I bought a gun), I'm not sure why a list of all the neato hard shit you went through is a good topic.

i'm in the same boat.  stupid things that happened to me years ago are hilarious now and i don't mind sharing them today.

here's my battle with cancer story.  in middle school i got this strange lump on my arm that i thought was a tumor.  the lump was the size of a golfball. but it didn't hurt.  it did bruis up my arm and was very unsightly but shit like this doesn't exactly happen on a daily basis and i was scared.  i hid it in long sleeve shirts and freaked out and i seriously thought i was going to die.  i went through numerous scans and stuff to determine if it was cancer but they all came up negative.  every doctor in the state was completely baffled by this until eventually the lump resided.  some doctors tried to say it was a rare but benign buildup of fat cells or something but it hasn't appeared ever again so i tend to forget about it.

in elementary school there was also this three year period where i got strange afflictions on my tongue.  the doctors called it an "ulcer" but it would come and go consistently.  basically, it bored a hole in my tongue (or under my tongue) and literally ate away the tissue.  i went through several periods of intense surgery where doctors tried to stitch it up (one of them actually cut off a huge chunk of tissue for testing) but to no avail.  i still have the twin scars that run down my tongue and the "disease" or whatever was so serious that it almost split my tongue in three like a fork.  my tongue has healed up pretty good after surgery but if i'm not piss drunk after tonight i'll take some pictures and show you guys what my tongue looks like because the scars are pretty cool looking.
