thats sad hundley
yeah

it's a pretty inevitable thing for people who get addicted to smoking. and unfortunately the one thing that nobody really stresses is how extraordinarily addictive nicotine is. a couple weeks of smoking and it can very easily become this snowball effect, particularly if you think you have some sort of control over your reaction to this stuff. the moment you start to really dig the sensation on any level, you're pretty much fucked unless you make some deliberate effort to stay away from them.
so yeah if any of you people think of yourselves as being NOT-ADDICTED but still smoke and DO NOT want to end up a blubbering mess that relies on smoking to get through every hour of your life, you may want to double-check the garbage you're putting into your system!
you just have my sympathies if you've already hopelessly addicted.
Yo Hundley, you could try getting Nicotene lozenges. I tried the patch before, but it irritated the hell out of my skin. The gum I've been told to stay away from. But these Commit lozenges aren't at all half bad. You should try to see if you have a program that hands them out for free in your area. That's what I did.
hey i just looked these up and they sound pretty neat. hadn't even heard of nicotine lozenges before. i may give these a try. did they work well for you? what brand did you use?
at this point i may bite the bullet and buy some of these myself if i can't find them anywhere for free.
