i think the "glitter freeze" is the night sky. it's a reflection on nature. albarn's always had that deeeeper side. like on "sound check", which is on Gorillaz

graavvviitt---tt--yy----

its about the greater natural forces that control our lives.

I've always liked the original version despite having never played the game, but this version is... well... awesomesauce.

maybe!! I don't know if this is saracism but I know albarn does a lot of that stuff like with "the good the bad and the queen" which was mostly...snicker The Bad. given the theme of the album tho it'd be more of a cool name for a fake night sky. plastic beach seems like an embrace of all that modern stuff we call garbage, and that stuff is mostly garbage but it also has some inherent value

I figured I wouldn't like a new gorillaz album since I've taken a few small steps steps towards being a music fuck since demon days, and that album didn't leave much of a lasting impression on me. so I don't know what the blagosphere thinks about it or if this is old news by now but I like it

I prefer this performance compared to the studio version, even though Cedric's voice is pretty jumpy live.

(funk... how do you embed?)
