John Connor could kill the Arnold Terminator, think about it... there were three of the same model sent to the past. That means a production line of Arnold Terminators (T-800? T-1? I forget)

Anyway, the only thing that bugged me in the movie was like... the build up on those Terminator bikes. Like ooo cool fuckers, and then Connor

i think we already know what the next terminator model will be??? (hint: watch terminator 2)

also they shouldnt have jets or submarines because in the first one i think it explains that skynet became self aware long after every military ship/plane/sub/whatever had been fully mechanized. unless they had enough resources to build jets/subs after judgement day but that seems like a stretch!

the wikipedia says hopefully that's bull.
Yeah, they could do another T-1000. That would be pretty sweet actually. Seeing like a bunch of those unstoppable liquid dudes. Though, they could do anything, and pretty much ever terminator movie has introduced a new model. So...? lololol prototype liquid guy.

I guess it sort of makes sense. So we'll see T-1000 apparently, and like the time displacement stuff that sends Terminators back to kill the Connors in the past will start happening. I like the current setting too, but as far as tie-in to old Terminator flicks we're getting to the part where the machines go back in time. (not including all the time shit from Sarah Connor Chronicles)
Kinda cool. Kinda... hmm...
The setting right now is great, and it wouldn't make chronological sense to go back in time, unless he sends the T-800 to save himself from T-1000 and then the second T-800 to save himself from T-X @_@ and then jumps. that would be such a cop out! haha, plus Connor dies by the hands of the second T-800 I think. Didn't they say that in T3?

christian bale, sam worthington, and whoever plays john connors wife all give really good performances. especially worthington and yelchin. anton yelchin rules as kyle reese. common, moon bloodgood, and a few of the other supporting actors are really terrible. also i thought arnold's cameo was really well done! it wasn't bad CGI at all. everyone clapped in my theater when he came on screen.

I love Bryce, but her character (Kate Conner) got a grand total of two minutes of screen time, in which she did nothing of great importance. It didn't take a lot of acting skill to play that role. Anyone could've done it. I didn't think Moon Bloodgood was too bad.

Agreeance on the rest though. Sam and Anton were both great. Common was completely useless. When he and John/Bale were hiking that mountain midway through the movie (I forgot the exact lines), it sounded like he was going to start spitting a verse. Not good. The poor bastard tried, though.

Whatever happened to Michael Biehn? He was in all of James Cameron's 80s movies, Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss...I'm not sure I've seen him in anything since then. Obviously he's too old to play Kyle Reese again in this, but it got me wondering. Oh, I think he was in Planet Terror also?

How does it compare to Y2DAZZ's movie script?

no one answered this...

also if u must see one movie where someone gets their heart electrocuted SPOILERS go see crank 2...

also also blowin your mind: in T1 it is established as a plot point that nothing non-organic goes through time travel, which is why arnold needs skin over his metal shit and why they don't just send a nuke back in time but in t2 and t3 that just doesn't matter!!! here comes a liquid metal guy/girl.

basically do not think too hard about any of these movies but maybe see star trek instead as I hear that's the much better of the stupid blockbusters. also see solo instead of the soloist.

Time only checks the outside of things according to terminatorwiki.net

yeah they should have sent a nuke back in skin. I'm boycotting this movie.

its living tissue, not skin, and there's probably a size limit i'd guess (also imprecision of nuke blah blah). it's implied they can't keep sending people back in time, isn't it, if you discount the tv show?

like i bet it takes a lot of energy or some shit to do.

great now im fat and nerd.

what? no it wasn't. the reason arnold had skin over him is he was a new type of infiltration terminator. kyle reese explained it in one of the most famous scenes of the movie! the reason they didnt just send nukes back in time was because cyberdyne headquarters was in the same city as john/sarah connor and just randomly blowing up cities in the past might alter the future and prevent them from even coming into existence

oh nvm i checked and you're right. that seems like a pretty strange rule! but still the terminators weren't covered FOR time travel, it would make since to cover them in skin anyway if you're sending them to the past.

true enough but come on there are a million things wrong with how skynet chose to do things.

like how about a terminator dog.

who would seriously look that hard at a dog??? what if it went into law enforcement??? send back like three dogs, sarah connor is all AW A DOG and it carves out her throat.

point is that the liquid terminators, by rules they set in the first movie, shouldn't be able to go back in time!

now back to the future...thats a time travel movie heh.

I was just wondering why they didn't just keep sending more liquid terminators.

The very instant the first liquid terminator was sent back in time, the future would've been changed, and if it didn't, they should've sent another one! Robotic efficiency! Even if it took a lot of energy, they could send a terminator, wait 20 years, and send another one to the same time. No way arnold could've taken 2 liquid terminators.

Just by this movie's own laws, the entire story shouldn't exist.

i like the family guy joke when the escape pod is leaving and some dude is like HOLD YOUR FIRE THERE'S NO LIFE ON BOARD and the other guy is like WHAT ARE WE CHARGING BY THE LASER? and you apply this to terminator time travel and well that fucks the whole movie right there.

I actually liked that episode the most except for that fucking old guy (who I hear is voiced by Cleveland guy so maybe he's gone) who really almost ruined it, but it was a references ep that had to focus on one movie so.

but yeah is skynet charging by the time travel? if the issue is no record of Sarah Connor exists, why not send one terminator back, any terminator, find out where she is somehow, and bury a box in a construction yard for skynet to unearth? then even if you have some established events clause you can keep sending terminators one after another.

movie 1 ends, she squashes him, another cracks open the door is all BOO!
