Just imagine if he married Mamamack's daughter and THEY had babies.

THEN we'd have some GW babies for sure.

I seriously lol'ed. I'm also amazed at the staggering amount of GW'ers who are procreating. We should have our own member group.

Anyway, congrats on the new baby! He is absolutely adorable and it's always wonderful to hear that another new life has graced our world in excellent health. I love the Zelda jumper and I need to know where it came from and whether or not something similar can be done in toddler sizes.

And yeah, hormones are horrible, especially during the later months of pregnancy and the first months afterwards. After Autumn was born I spent three months as a sleep-deprived hormonally-fuelled nutjob. If my husband even looked at me cross-eyed I had to fight the urge to kick him in the nuts.

It's amazing what you can do with a good quality iron-on t-shirt transfer and a blank onesie.  I Marioed-up his diaper bag and also made him jumpers featuring each of the Final Fantasy 2 job classes.

I'm glad you're not my dad.
Congratulations on having a child and then being able to ruin his life for the next 18 years (as dads often do).

dude, sweet! you made a baby! congratulations~! :D your little Lucas is so adorable. good choice for a name, by the way. what's his middle name? anyway, i'm sure life is going to be really hard for a while, but things will settle down eventually and then you'll be able to have a great time caring for your new son. :3 good luck with dealing with your wife for the next few months, haha. but be grateful. her anger will be understandable, you know? well, congrats man. be sure to raise him to be a TRUE GAMER(tm) and don't let him turn out to be a shut-in with an online Japanese girlfriend who debates awkwardly about jokes or anything like that. oh but also, just wondering, are you planning on having more kids or just Lucas?

p.s. i second the motion of arranging his marriage with mamamack's daughter. xD
semper games.

His name is Lucas Dee.  I shall withhold his last name for security purposes.  Dee is my middle name, as well as my father's and my grandfather's, so yeah.

Ya know, it wasn't until after we chose the name that we started to see a lot of nerdy parallels.  SSBB came out, and there was a Lucas there.  I realized that the man who created Star Wars is called George Lucas.  Shorten Lucas, and you have Luke, or Luc, which of course parallels with Luke Skywalker or Jean Luc Picard.  None of these were the original inspirations for the name.  The original inspiration was Biblical in origin.  The gospel of Luke.

I hope you didn't.  But you know where I'm coming from.  Sometimes it's hard to tell if she is genuinely angry, or just hormonally angry.  I think I'm starting to be able to figure out the difference.  With hormonally angry, I can usually just give her a spontaneous hug, and she bursts into tears then feels better.

AWWW!! Babies are an exciting part of life that is full of joy and fear. Since you have a son you have much less to worry about (they tend to listen to what mom and dad have to say during the early years, girls... not so much)

I didn't realize there were so many people having babies here now?

Yay!  My wife is making Brownies for my birthday.

His original due date was on my birthday, actually.  It wasn't until the first ultrasound when they measured him that they pushed it back two weeks.
