I am loving this patch, and it's made me aware how spazzy my monitor's resolution is (1400x900....unlucky) so a double-thanks to you Aten!

This is great! If I ever use the other laptop I'll give this a go. However, I'm perfectly okay with the norm for now.

While this is a nice idea, something troubles me.

Why am I now restricted to three lines of text instead of four with this patch?

As you can see in my picture, I can go up to 4 lines no problem, (and no one else has complained yet) sooooo, I'm chalking it up to the fact that it's your windows theme messing it up. I don't know how though, since I use custom themes too, and it works fine for me :\

Hey Aten, seriously consider making the screen resolution variable because I don't meet the requirements.  Aaaand, I'm not getting a new monitor, I like mine.  I only get 1024x768, and yes I've tried every avenue I can find to increase it.  Google, control panel, updating drivers and adapters, everything.  My monitor simply won't ever have a higher resolution, but I'm dieing for this patch.  Help me out, old buddy ol' pal?

So there's no reasonable explanation for this at all? Ok then, a shame; the battle events UI would have been really nice to have.

Actually NightBlade, Neophyte is right on the money. You Fonts are totally wrong. Heres a side by side comparison:



Note how extremely large your font is. It is probably because you have the WRONG font installed.

I just uploaded this. Delete [msmincho, ][/msmincho,] from your fonts folder, reboot and put the ones from the above link back in.

Surprisingly, that worked.

It's strange though, because the fonts I had installed came from this very forum's FAQ. Maybe that should be checked on.

Looks good. Sadly, I miss out on this because my monitor only goes to 1280 x 768. Anyways, I was just wondering what you did to create this awesome patch, since I've been dying to patch my own RM2k, but only to my liking. Other than that, looks nice!

Sorry im asking this but if anyone is coming with a new version of the patch. I'd love it if you can destroy the 5000 battle animations limit and change it to 999999 or something. Cant make animated monsters due to that limit.

What limit are you talking about? Because I've increased the number of frames from 500 to 9999

Im not talking about the frame limit. Im talking about the animations array size. The max number of animations you can have is 5000. The reason i want it it 999999 is to create enemy hurt animations.

You know.
If skill so and so is used on Slime 1
Show monster animation Move XXXXX Slime, slime 1

If skill so and so is used on Robot 1
Show monster animation Move XXXXX Robot, Robot 1

As for the enemies i can hide them using background. Pretty Easy if u ask me but its limited to 5000.

And just a side note but liked your idea of changing Monster attack, def limit to 9999. If you did that for the heroes too it would be awsome.
