3-1 now baby.. I'm doing better than I thought especially since my best player is out for the season.. Hope I can keep this pace up.

Defending Champ Hund is still 0-4 though.. can't do a weekly recap today either sorry boys too busy.. I'll look to do it another day before next week's matchups.

I'm deeply saddened in Jacksonville. ;_; Friggin' got me ONE point playing against HOUSTON. WTF. I knew I should've stuck with Buffalo when they were playing St. Louis. Grr...

But, I'm hoping I can rebound with a big win over Wireman. Gotta get Drew Brees to have another big game, and with him Robert Meachem (seeing as how Shockey, Colston, and Patton are out due to injury and such). Also need Barber/Turner to rebound from their like...sucky games last week. Faggots let me down.

Did manage to pick up a really nifty 47-point kicker that was a free agent. o.o Don't know why, though. Gotta research that Matt Prater, or whatever. Just about to get a decent TE for my good ol' FSU kicker Janikowski...that'll help seeing as how I already have Prater and Carney. I think I'm trying to trade Prater for Jerricho Cotchery though... Carney's still good. ;] Only trails Prater by 12 points, but he was off last week after all.

Defense is still making me nervous. >>; Don't know if I can count on Buffalo, but it's better than counting on Jacksonville after that humongous letdown last week. Plus, Jacksonville's playing Pitt. Not expecting much out of them...

Wow! We have five people at 3-1 right now. Jotuns (270), Fooseball Fiend (255), Shinobars (245), Board of Education (220), and The Immortalz (192).

I guess we gotta be surprised with Blade's and Sprankton's fall from 2-0 to 2-2, eh? And also with Fooseball Fiend and BoE rising from 0-1, I believe! Interesting season indeed... Hopefully I can hang on and make the playoffs.

This is way too damn competitive, its makin' me nervous.. But this is probably the best GW Football league that we've had out of the 4 seasons yet.

Fooseball Fiend is definitely gonna be a challenge.. I gotta top him off though..

Yeah, I had a couple bad weeks.  Mainly due firstly to Roth being stomped by the Eagles, and a lot of things fucking up last week.  Big Ben and Edwards both seem unpredictable in whether they'll get points or not, and my bad WR position was made worse by Plax being suspended.

I managed to win this week against Blades though, and mainly because despite the fact that he's on one of the worst teams right now, Slaton is fucking excellent (also <3 WVU).

What an awful loss...I could've started the Minnesota defense and I would've won.

But what I find disheartening is that punt returns for TDs don't count for points for the defense. I could've sworn that they did. Oh well. I've got work to do now.

Heh.. I won surprisingly. Thought Fooseball had me there... Warner, Jacobs and Jennings played great and bailed me out.

4-1-0 now, that's a huge surprise. I see that in all of my matchups, you guys all vote against me so I'm the underdog.. haha fair enough, I did lose my best player in Brady to a season ending injury but my other guys are stepping up, including my backup QB Warner.

Its a colossal matchup against BoE this week, as the two 4-1-0 teams square off. One will go 5-1 while the other will sink to 4-2... Or both could goto 4-1-1 but that's unlikely.

Defending Champ Hundley is still winless at 0-5... Damn

A missed Folk kick and a bad game from Witten might screw me over in FF, but it was still so fucking good to watch the home team here take down Dallas.  Pretty much my entire block is partying right now.

I bet! I only watched up until the end of the fourth, but that was pretty crazy to see in and of its self.

I watched the bears/falcons game, and the last half of the fourth quarter was completely and utterly exciting. Did anybody else watch this game?

The Punt Block TD was so excellent to watch.

I caught the end of the New Orleans and Oakland game myself, then was carried along with CBS to watch the end of the Houston vs. Miami game. That was a strange ending... Miami had Houston on two fourth downs on the last drive of the game but just couldn't get that damnable turnover on downs and ended up losing on a Schaub sneak into the endzone with 00:03 left on the clock...

I was glad to see the Texans finally win.

Also, thanks to the Cards game, Romo, Felix Jones, Sam Hurd, and McBriar are all injured.

Dirtsheet must not be paying much attention, he had at least 3 players in that weren't playing this week.

I'll have to concur. That's what tends to happen every year though, right?

I'd have to say that the top ten, and especially the top five, teams are making for a very exciting year this time around. I'm hoping that I get the chance to take Board off the board sometime soon. But preferably not when half my team has a bye.

Michael Turner has a bye for me...and I'm facing Boards. Not a good combination. I did manage to pick up Kevin Faulk (seeing as Tim Hightower is ALSO on a bye) however. Hopefully he'll get me more than the projected two points. I also have to really pray that New Orleans does a fantastic passing job against Carolina. If Brees and Moore don't get me some good points, I could be toast.

Gotta watch out for the Buffalo game too... Jacksonville's on a bye and if Buffalo can't pull out a rather good defensive game I'm screwed. And I'm confused on whether or not to use John Carney... Tynes seems to be recovering, but I can't fathom how a team can get rid of a guy who has yet to miss a FG or a PAT for someone who was just injured! I have Matt Prater going for a hopeful trade, so I'm glad I picked up TB's K Matt Bryant.

Wish me luck against Boards everyone! So far, the projected stats seem to have me winning by a point. But since when do those ever hold true...? If I manage to beat Boards, the scramble for first place gets that much more interesting.

My Picks:

Board of Education over Shinobars

Jotuns over Sprankton

The Immortalz over Blades

Fooseball Fiend over Enlightened Posse

Dirty Diabetics over dont likef midgits

Dirtsheet over Wireman

Leading to...

1. Board of Education 6-1
2. Jotuns 5-2
3. The Immortalz 5-2
4. Fooseball Fiend 4-3
5. Shinobars 4-3
6. Sprankton 4-3
7. Blades 3-4
8. Dirty Diabetics 3-4
9. Enlightened Posse 3-4
10. Dirtsheet 3-4
11. Wireman 2-5
12. dont likef midgits 0-7

You're lucky Tony Romo is out for a month. Otherwise I would have kicked.your.ass.

However unlike most owners of Top5 quarterbacks, I actually have a very decent replacement: Brett Favre.

Addai got injured last week too before he could even score a SINGLE point for me, so I'm hoping he returns or else I'll have to trust Rhodes. My WR situation isn't looking great either, as I've the absolute WORST LUCK with Marvin Harrison. Every time I put him in my roster he blows dick and catches 1 pass for 8 yards, but when I bench him he goes and scores 1 or 2 TD's on me asd;flkjasdl.

Man BoE took me out this week and I dropped from 2nd to 4th (tied with 2nd still at 4-2 but less points for) due to subpar weeks from some of my guys.. Gotta bounce back against Blades though and I gotta trust Delhomme to have a good bounce back week with my starting QB Warner sitting this week out due to a bye week.
