I'd prefer SSF2T, but I'm fine with SFA3 as well.

I'll just participate in this without having done any practicing for about two years or so and see how far I come.

please lets play street fighter alpha 3!!!! its the only fighting game i've played more than once!

i wish more fighting games had a million characters like street fighter alpha 3. it doesn't even matter if they're balanced or anything, i just like games with a million guys.

Thats gotta be some pretty leet skills to spam the same 1 or 2 moves in the corner. So if I win with that tactic, that means I'm good at the game, right?

when i first read this post i didn't check the links to see that the first video is actually pretty bad, like a lot of those simple "setups" aren't setups at all and can be teched out of, and the shit in the second video is really fucking hard to do so I wouldn't worry about that, the third video i can't say much just that ryu's vc's are only all that effective in the corner and he is pretty popular in all isms.

yeah sfa3 isn't that bad goat come on guy.

Alright, we had a tie of 14 votes in 2 games (which does no one good as running 2 tournaments in the same thing is kinda loco). I've changed the vote this time down to both games that tied, you each get 1 vote, and you can't change it. If there is a tie which ever game has the most mod votes wins. Consider this a tie breaker.

I'm not sure exactly how good you are at fighting games, but it really isn't as easy as it might seem. You really should make no mistake about that. I've played this somewhat intensively for about a year or so and made attempts at learning V-ism combos, but some are quite difficult to (consistently) nail, especially when you add a bit of variable lag into the mix. The most damage I ever did with a combo is around 60%, but that was exceptional.

To put it shortly, you really aren't going to be able to use the V-ism mode unless you're a hardened veteran who's specialized himself in one of the characters.

Ugh. Man. I really do not enjoy A3 . I hope 3S wins this but I'm not going to vote because I cannot really participate in internet fighting game tournament due to the New Zealag and lazy. Good luck not picking the wrong game. ;]
