Well, you have a few good points there. The show was essentially going to be a 1 season show. Or a movie even, but they decided to make it into a tv show. But it's still great, imo. ImDB is giving it a 9.0/10 still (overall), as is tv.com. I check those two places for episode reviews before I watch them (just the score) and then decide for myself. But yeah, Season 2 was fairly repetitive, and Season 3 was kinda weird, but 4 is awesome. I'm loving it.
season 4 has the storyline of a bad rpg (FETCH THE SIX SCYLLA CARDS)

last episode was the best episode ever because of NOW WHUT and also 'we've got COMPANY' is the classiest pun ever

I dunno the plot twist seemed kind of weak to me, just kind of having people turn evil for the sake of it being a really shocking twist

I kind of thought Bagwell would finally get it in this episode but I guess he might figure into the next episode maybe? I dunno is he going to get some sort of REDEMPTION by the time the show's over and be a prosthetic limb salesperson

also I'm kind of getting tired of the show not seeming to reach a sort of conclusion yet but I guess the shit needs to hit the fan more than it has, I'm surprised getting Scylla out of there was so easy

also anytime Gretchen does anything on the show it's like porno ever notice that (haha like to explain lady FBI agent is using a gun it's convincing but with Gretchen it feels like some HOT CHICKS WITH GUNS show that they'd run on Spike TV)

and somebody should make Prison Break the RPG

but yeah it is amazing the show holds together in spite of having the worst most unbelievable storyline ever. I think such and such is right that part of the appeal is it feels like a video game storyline that shouldn't be able to work in any other medium but they pulled it off somehow (they should produce the Metal Gear Solid movie)

it doesn't hold together man, I posted a pretty significant plot hole!

also it's got two episodes till MIDSEASON break, forget about end of season. they also are supposedly gonna end it with a big two hour episode. so no, everyone knew the show wasn't going to conclude except...you...

Same. You were meant to though, i'm pretty sure they did a slow pan of him looking shifty and played evil music.

I just kind of realized that Michael's entire plan is to lure the general down to Scylla...so why even bother with the whole BE QUIET/FREEZE HEAT/CUT GLASS stuff?
Hmm, maybe. The way I took it was, they needed to be quiet and be unnoticed until the very end, when they were able to set up where lincoln and sucre and mahone would be, to surprise the general and be the people in control. If they blew it early on, it would have been difficult to be able to turn the tide the way they did.

Also, yeah, the episode rocked, but the plot twist did seem a bit totally outta no where. They'll need to have some strong justification for Self's backstab and maybe they can redeem the twist.

I didn't feel that Self turning was unexpected... he seemed very shifty from the get go. I specifically remember a scene with him looking at a photograph of his some woman (wife?) in his office that made him look like a bad guy. It was just so out of place and uncomfortable that I felt they were setting something up for the future. I'm sure the writers will tie that up and refer back to it. I find they rarely leave things untied.

That's how I took it as well.

What was in the picture Gretchen sent Michael?  They never explained that.

Also, come on Self.  This series could have ended on this last episode.  That would have been an awesome ending, but no, they have to drag it out for a while longer.

I really hope this series ends in this season.  I'm tired of being addicted.

Whatever it was I'm guessing it's how they found out that that women was the General's daughter.

I agree. I was content at the end of the episode, but then knowing this was PB I was wondering what would go wrong next. Hopefully they just get their revenge on Self and the series concludes. However, there's a part of me that wishes the "Michael is a bioengineered soldier" storyline would take flight.

I'm not tired yet, but I do want this to finish on a high and not fall by the wayside the way Heroes has/will be.

It's Prison Break. It doesn't have to make sense.

Charles Westmoreland's cat comes backs and saves everyone but then thinks Scylla is Meow Mix and the rest of the season is all of them following the cat around waiting for something to happen

Not really. I felt it fit. For once he went back to leading a normal life, and being successful at it I can see how we yearned to go back to leading that type of life away from all this havoc. The execution of certain scenes with Gretchen's sister was a little wonky, with her trying to convince him of being Cole, but overall I could buy it.
