This is another reason why I want a PSP. Though the game looks very nice and polished, I have to say that the character lineup is halfassed, and largely terrible. Only 16 characters when it's entirely possible to use like more than 25, all of which would be nice.

They seem to play a lot like Kingdom Hearts more so than a fighting game, but it looks fun. I almost came when I saw the Overdrive meter in Blitz Ace. Here's hoping Squall gets a Renzokuken Meter.

more and more games seem to be adopting the whole "blind everyone with fancy particle effects because it looks cool" trend lately.

edit: also, final fantasy dissidia they might as well call it fanservice fantasy dissidia

i mean the most they flew was in ff7ac and that was ridiculous but yeah what

This looks pretty amazing for a handheld game. Fanboy candy fo sho.... but amazing nonetheless. If only they could divert their attention away from LOLCAMEO games like this and KH and make something truly original out of this type of gameplay.

I can't understand what type of game this is. Is it a fighting game? Or is it some Kingdom Hearts VS crap? I swear, everything Square puts out now has "Final Fantasy" in its title.

The game looks really pretty though, aside from the barrage of effects being thrown around.

Final Fantasy Budokai Tenkaichi? :P

It actually looks pretty fun, the Budokai Tenk. isn't exactly a dig at the game as that is the only version of the current DBZ fighters I like so Dissidia is looking pretty intriguing based on that alone. (save for the Supersonic Warriors games on GBA/DS)

The funny thing is this should've happened years ago but instead there was that Ehrgeiz game where you got to play as Cloud and Tifa too I think and there was no incentive to play as any of the other characters they were that unappealing
