CalderaRPG, an online role-playing game played out through IRC (internet relay chat, www.mirc.com).  Caldera is essentially an MMORPG... without the 'massive' and without the graphics.  Played out in text format, relying on the imagination of everyone who joins in, it's very similar to a table top setting.

This game does have an Active Character Database and Dice Rollers, free form can be conducted in the main channel between quests or events, but all opposition between characters or otherwise is dictated through dice rollers and the skills you acquire through gaming. A friendly environment for serious gamers who are tired of power gaming free form experiences. I would be more inclined to look into this if you were not a single-post user. Really, if you want to market things, put effort into it; contribute to the community.

The whole "text based rpg" thing has always interested me. (I had quite the imagination back then). Might try this for nostalgia sakes.
