Fuck pulled muscles indeed. I have a chronic shoulder injury and every couple'o months I pull the muscle and it hurts like hell. Mateui's advice is fantastic and is what professional sports physios use (assuming Mateui isn't one!)

How far up your side is it? hopefully not as high as the ribs.

It's like from the middle rib down to the waistline. And Mateui did have great advice. By the way I did this yesterday. I lifted a 42lb case of water and twisted to set it down and that's when it happened. It didn't feel too good at all.

My guess is that you also better eat enough proteïns.

I'm not a physio, but I am currently in year 3 out of 4 in Pharmacy, studying to be a pharmacist.

I have to ask, are you aware that it's much healthier and easier to lift/set things down with your legs and not your back? It sounds like your using your back to lift heavy objects, which I gotta tell yah weakens the ligamnets in your back slowly each time until they'll eventually give in.

I do think that you should stretch your muscles out more, stiffness increases the chances to get cramps.

A tool is a tool regardless. I mean if you suck, you suck, and not even the most perfect tool could save you. And if your damn good then even with the worst tool ever conceived you could chug out some high quality shit.

Forget the pain. Drink some water.
