It's that time again. New Office starts on the 25th. Who's excited? I know ASE is. I'm pretty stoked. I got my Season 4 DVD along with a key chain of a stapler in Jello, so I'm all set.

The first episode will be:
5.01-02: Weight Loss

Written by: Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky.

Summary (NBC): For the first time, we see what happens over eight weeks of the summer, as a Dunder Mifflin weight loss initiative causes the branch to diet and become obsessed with their weight. Michael pursues a friendship with his new HR rep, Holly. Jim misses Pam who attends art school in New York. Dwight, Andy and Angela attend to unfinished business. One-hour long.

Sounds awesome. Discuss the awesomeness.

Season Four was killer. It was hilarious how at the end Toby bailed, he just kinda jumped the fence and we never see him again. The last season was much wackier writing wise than the seasons before it which were just more packed with awkward situational humour. I'll watch it if I'm home on Thursdays, is how.

i stopped watching this near the beginning of season 4. not cos i thought it was getting terrible, i mean it changed a little for the worse but it was still funny most of the time and i like the setting. it was probably just cos of the strike i stopped watching, but now i don't really care if i see another one or not. i'll check it out if it's convenient, the first episode synopsis sounds like it could be good.

I'm not really as excited for this as I would've expected to be at this point, but chances are I'll get back into the mood once I start getting back into the regular schedule of watching this show.   Season 4 overall had a lot of weak episodes, but the last few of the season were pretty good, and the season finale was one of the better ones, so chances are I'll stick around once again and see how this turns out.

Having rewatched all the season 4 episodes, that was a great season. The Deposition is probably my favorite.

Yeah, I am excited for this. not as much as i was same time last year. I'm gonna go over to nbc.com/the_office and watch some webisodes and shit to get MORE PUMPED.

Season 4 was a mixed bag imo. had some really good and some bad episodes.

Season 2 > Season 3 > Season 1 > Season 4 or something idk

Season 2 was probably the best season of any TV show ever ever.

I've got all the episodes on my laptop, and seriously watch maybe an episode a day. This show has such amazing replay value, almost as good as Family Guy!

As far as I think, seasons 2 and 3 were amazingly amazing, and season 1 was great but not yet in the vein of The Office US, and then... I didn't think season 4 was funny at all, more or less. Except the finale, which I thought stacked up against the best episodes of seasons 2 and 3. Looking back on the rest of season 4 I think if I watch it again, it'll be funnier, but at the time it was mostly disappointment. The finale really captured what I've always seen the show to be about, though, so as long as this is up to snuff I'm a happy guy.

Andy is the best... hands down the best. Just his SMILE, and his BANJO courtship with pam, and his Zombie singing, and... his ringtone... he's the best.

A rittittitit a gimme the people as in free my soul!

I still crack up every single time I watch Andy walk up to Michael and Pam while they're talking, and he says "I hear THAT!", and then Michael is just annoyed with him and that whole conversation. It's one of the funniest scenes in television, I think.

Yeah I'm excited.  Just been catching up on Office lately - the kid down the hall has all of them.

I thought this was really good. Jim and Pam, wow, that was relatively surprising! Although I do see some trouble being foreshadowed. Holly and Michael's little plot line was interesting but I kinda think they're overplaying Michael's whole "bad dater" aspect. I really do want something to happen there.

Also the Kevin thing was so funny it was ridiculous.

GREAT first episode. Loved every second of it. Pam's new 'friend' is totally goofy looking though, and Jenna looked absolutely GORGEOUS this episode.

I missed it! I'm waiting for HULU to put it up, hopefully tomorrow.
