reread any of his works with MAYBE the exception of fight club and even then not by much and you'll pick up the raging homosexuality behind it and his disgust with what appears to be any sex at all. it's pretty self evident in choke which has him joining a sex therapy group if I remember right and losing a benwa ball in his ass.
Well he IS gay. And I don't really care about any of this expressing of pent up self loathing through literature, I thought it was a really good book, I thought fight club was a really good book and I think Choke will be a good film even if it does have MAD GAY UNDERTONES. Is it that you didn't think Choke was a good book/story? Or you just don't like that Palahnuik expresses his homosexuality through the books he writes <-- because that shit doesn't bother me at all, I tend to just IGNORE WRITERS and whatever meaning they try and impose into their work.
