Saw this a few nights ago. I loved it. I couldn't stop laughing, and I was left with such a satisfied feeling, as I always do when I see a Coen movie. It's phenomenally acted, directed, written, and shot. Essentially, the movie is about absolutely nothing, which is fantastic. Anyone else seen this? What'd you think of it?

I'm kind of surprised that nobody posted a topic about this before but YEAH I've been wanting to see this but it's not playing that close to me so I haven't been able to.  But even though I've said earlier that it's "probably going to be awesome" I actually kind of have my doubts about it but WE'LL SEE I guess.

I loved this movie!
It really sticks out to me as not only different from Coen Bros films, but different from the hollwood standard comedy. It seemed much more intelligent, and I think all the actors did so well because they knew the little things were what made it so hilarious.

I loved all the actors in this movie, but J.K Simmons and John Malkovich did especially great jobs.

It's not out here for nearly a month. Can't wait, though.

man

I didnt think this was one of the coen brothers best films but it certainly was entertaining and you cant knock any of the actors. I enjoyed it though, so I dont really have any criticisms of it heh. Also I basically watched this in the middle of a hurricane and the power went out during the film. it was weird lol

I was going to see this but I saw Ghost Town instead, because that's not showing in as many places. (I highly suggest that movie, though.) I really wanted to see this for a long time, it looks really funny.

Was anyone kind of disturbed by how all the guilty (or maybe evil?) characters actually end up reasonably safe and unpunished for all their bad deeds, while all the innocent characters who had reasonable intentions ended up dying suddenly and usually in a cruel manner?

I thought the movie was watchable, I guess, but I though it kind of had this cold hearted outlook. The whole movie just felt really bleak to me. Or maybe I didn't expect it to be as dark a comedy as it was.

I'll admit it that it had its funny and surprising moments, though. Brad Pitt was by far the funniest character, in my opinion, next to the head of CIA guy. The machine that George Clooney builds was a great reveal, probably the funniest moment in the movie for me.

Sorry for the bump, I've just seen it and I completely loved this movie.
After the first 15 minutes of slow development, where you are starting to regret that you went to the wrong room when you actually have gone to the cinema to see CHE, hilarity starts to pick up a roll, a non stop roll. You get laughs after laughs of black, well done humor. Every single actor is marvelous, except Malcovich character's wife, what's her name, she scares me.
I had such a fantastic time, man did I tell you this.
I want to watch it again, I dont watch movies more than onces, when I want to watch it again that means something yknow.

I reckon I still have to watch lebowski but yeah, later, I am thinking of how hilarious this movie was, like, secure that shit.

I love Malcovich when he gets manic and pissed.
It is like like like like the best thing, yeah.
yeah I love it when he does his shit yknow.
fantastic fucking shit right on motherfucking

Great little film about the chaos of life and the shortcomings of people who think they're "in control."

I really enjoyed it, although it does have a funky timbre.

yeah John Malkovich really made this movie

it was good, but he took it to the next level of hilarity because his character was just so batshit insane
