I wouldn't touch fuzzy blankets either till like a year after my baby sister was born, I hate cotton balls and shit thinking on them gives me shivers!

yeah it's definitely that sort of texture. most blankets are fine for me I think, but if that texture was on anything else I'd probably not like it.

I thought of another one:  when I was really little, I always loved with the music video to Black Hole Sun would come on TV (I have no idea why but I was in love with that video) but the part lady cutting up the breathing fish and her face gets all distorted...ughghghghghghh

you realise it's not a topic about phobias or scary shit, but just things that creep you out. and hell, I'm certainly not afraid of cotton, sheesh. but the texture of cotton balls genuinely IS awful to me. I think that qualifies as "creeping me out."
the same applies to things around my neck since I get sick/nervous from them! given that most people wear ties with ease, it's just one thing I find particularly bad. my mother is the same. again, it's probably no phobia, just a problem we have.

hey it's not the balls themselves, it's just that texture. like when you rub the ball between your fingers--that feeling is awful (sounds like im talking about wanking here..).

to make it easier to understand, it's like with some people and chalk texture/sounds. that's the sort of feeling i get and it just makes me shudder.

Knives creep me out.  Maybe I've watched too many slasher movies but every time I see a knife, I imagine something REALLY bad like in Happy Tree Friends is going to happen and the knife will end up stabbing me in my stomach.

Height also creeps me out. And scissors too...most of the time when I see it I cannot stop thinking that some accident will happen and it'll cut off my penis. I know it stupid, but when this happen I have to take scissors away from my sight or I'm gonna go insane.
