There was this web game (It was posted here on GW a few years ago) that was basically about typing speed.
According to how I remember it, words appeared on the screen and approached a line at increasing speeds, you had to type the word before it reached the line.

Seriously, just get The Typing of the Dead.  I got it in 2001 and went from 10 wpm and looking at the keyboard to 80wpm with my eyes always on the monitor, and that was after maybe two weeks of the game.  If the zoo was still working I could probably hook you up with my PC copy...

I don't want to type faster, I just want this particular game because it was awesome.

The Typing of the Dead can also be classified as awesome, but ok.  Also I have no idea what the name of the game is you're looking for.

Man the battle in that screenshot you posted was the best one because the sentences were all telling a story.  When I played it, it was a letter written to someone's girlfriend and it just got worse and worse with each sentence.  I remember one sentence being "I didn't know she was your sister."
