(I searched the forums and didn't find a topic on this.)
Mirror's Edge is an upcoming first person action-adventure video game being developed by EA Digital Illusions CE (DICE), due for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2008 in the US, and November 14, 2008 in the UK,[4] and Windows-based PCs on January 6th, 2009.[3]
The game was announced on July 10, 2007 and will be powered by the Unreal Engine 3 with the addition of a new lighting solution, developed by DICE.[2] The game has a realistic, brightly-colored style and differs from most other first-person perspective video games in allowing for a wider range of actions—such as sliding under barriers, tumbling, wall-running, and shimmying across ledges—and greater freedom of movement, in having no HUD, and in allowing the legs, arms, and torso of the character to be visible on-screen.[7]
The game is set in a conformist dystopia in which communication is heavily monitored by a totalitarian regime, and so a network of runners, including the main character, Faith, are used to transmit messages while evading government surveillance.[8]
A demo is due to be released on the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store by the end of October 2008.

Parkour/Free-running! It won some awards at E3 including "Best Original Game" , "Best of GC" (Game Critics) and "Best of Xbox 360."
I don't know too much about VIDCONS but this looks pretty cool. It's classified as a "first person action-adventure video game" which is kind of like g*y indie dudes calling their favorite band "low-fi experimental power punk" or something. That's not important.
I like how it has GUNS GUNS in the missions but they're not meant to be a focal point. As a matter of fact, apparently if you complete the game without firing a bullet you can uncover some hidden stuff. The levels look detailed and fun. It feels like one of those games that will be really challenging since there's probably little room for error when you're JUMPING OFF OF BUILDINGS but but...... the fun factor will neutralize the frustration.
