well I didn't really know a whole lot about that kind of stuff but it is pretty interesting. I guess you can compare pollen dating to like reading genetic DNA to differentiate between species/individual people/genetic traits and family sets in that you're finding out an incredible amount of information or information you'd normally think impossible to find from a lil drop of blood or spit. I love stuff like that.

I assume you guys have heard about Disney buying LucasArts and starting a Star Wars sequel trilogy?

I wonder how it'll all pan out and if Disney will interfere with the creative process. Hard to believe that it'd actually be any worse than what Lucas has done.

Hmmm, maybe with this they'll remake the prequels to not suck so god damned much eventually.

Watched Skyfall, didnt feel like a Bond movie especially after having to watch him get felt up by the evil homosexual guy. It was less sexy and more gay.

The worst thing about it is that it really should be the first time we are seeing this, because the whole idea of it really only fits in the James Bond setting and nowhere else. In the sense that even without actually seeing it, I can already imagine every single woman every bond has ever slept with just to blatantly abandon later cheering on his clear discomfort at this role reversal with earnest enjoyment.

Like if it was something actually novel, we as an audience could actually appreciate the irony at face value. But since it has already been so played out so many times before, we can only be left groaning at why movie directors keep thinking this is a good idea for identifying a villan. (Like do they seriously think they can keep making bond movies when they are already resorting to ripping off Disney movie cliches?)

Last move I watched was Preimum rush just now, pretty good film I thought, about to watch craigslist Joe, about a guy that tries living off the good will off of those on craigslist, no idea if it's a good film or not but it sounds interesting.

While I find the premise pretty ridiculous (GAYS ARE AFTER US STRAIGHT FOLK!!!... sexually...) IDK if the ladies he had consensual one night stands with would cheer at bond getting molested unless they were sociopaths. They might not like being ignored or abandoned later and think hes a jerk possibly but I think that they'd cheer something like that is probably going to far.

Also I'm not a Bond aficionado but this would only be a role reversal if Bond was hitting on these women and they were disgusted by it, iirc the deal with Bond is that the ladies love him??? But even then this would be really disgusting and nothing to applaud. This comes up a lot in the form of "homophobes??? heh I bet they're secretly just gay themselves" as if being gay/having gay people interact with you is some sort of punishment for revenge purposes.

i'm not gonna base my opinion of this Important Cultural Artifact on massy's partial description, because that's just a weird thing to do

there can also be a somewhat large gap between trans/genderqueer people and sexually queer people, and there are plenty of queer people who don't care about this sort of thing at all. yelling doesn't seem to help change that.
