Pretty much everyone I know from high school refuses to refer to me by, or remember my real first name anymore. It started as some kind of joke when I was 14 and now it's become my first name to a pretty large group of people, who I see on a pretty regular basis. I also used it when I signed up to GW because I found it pretty irritating at the time and felt like reclaiming the word.

As a rule, I know as little about the above book character as possible.

As you are all aware, potatos were farmed in South America for centuries before being introduced into the European diet. But did you know who invented the chip (British chips, not whatever abomination the Americans have on the market these days)? Yes, I'm sure you have guessed: the Earl of Chip.

I saw it written on a piece of paper in a dream. It was the name of a person (in the dream).

I have many usernames and this one isn't exactly one of the ones I use often. It comes from one of the Ten Sages from my favourite game: Star Ocean The Second Story.

Ragnar McRyan is 1000x more epic but I thought Ragnar was a cool name at the time (when I was 11 or 12 I think)

It was so bad no one would want it so originality, now I want to change it but I made it up so i'll have to take responsibility and bear this name 'till permanent ban.

I remember that one of my first game attempts was "Star Chronicals" and someone on a forum pointed out to me that it's spelled "chronicles" and I tried to pass it off the same way. Needless to say, no one fell for it.

I was 13 and making a game in RPGMaker and used one of those random name generator programs because I've always been horrible at coming up with names for characters.  I never finished the game and probably wouldn't have used the name in it if I had, but I thought it would be good for message boards.

I keep thinking of changing it but, alas, I'm still no good with names.  I guess it'll always be this way...

So I played a lot of Warcraft I and I really loved the character of Medivh. When I signed up for a GW account I had no idea how to spell his name off the top of my head so I spelled it phonetically (what the hell kind of dialect has names like "Medivh"?). Over the last year I've sort of regretted it because OH MY GOD WARCRAFT GOT BIG. It'd be like naming yourself Sephiroth because you liked the character and then discovering the internet.

I actually think the connection to medieval is somehow more irritating than being related to Medivh. Because its going to end up as, "Did you mean to spell 'medieval'?"

Yeah MEDIEVAL would make more sense.  I for some reason always associated it with NIGHT TIME, idk why.
