Well, I guess that would be fairer. I've seen great tanking gear then it has +spell damage on the last line of the description. But at the same time, you have always have 3 classes rolling for that one caster gear. Priests, locks, and mages will always roll on a better cloth piece. Then you have the shammies, pallies, and druids who used to roll on healing cloth gear. Unified tank plate will only be 2 classes and only if they're tanks. DPS pally and warrior gear will still be divided because of the way each of us deals damage. You can't give plate armor the same DPS stats of a warrior then throw on +spell damage to unify the need. Then pallies will always have greater advantage from the gear.

But I don't know, I do think gear should be suited for more classes and specs, but this does seem to give casters much more competition for loot. A pretty out there idea is that certain stats on gear should only be activated by class and choice upon spec, maybe. Like tanking plate gear would give +spell damage only for paladins and it gives more stamina or defense for warriors.

Death Knight is really dumb. They made them flashy just to be flashy and I think there's going to be a shit ton of balance issues here.

Yah, I took a couple month break (or played it a shit ton less anyways) from GW, and now I play both (GW more now tho.)

They are awesome but...stupid. WHY DO I GET TO SUMMON A LASER FROM THE SKY RANDOMLY. It's flashy just so everyone will play them and it's kinda dumb. The thing is, it isn't even just Death and Decay. All their shit is like this. Pretty much every single thing is over the top to be "badass". Why can't my mage shoot a fucking laser down from the sky? Be better than fucking Living Bomb or FROSTFIRE BOLT.

To clarify I think it is stupid because it reeks of just making them LOOK COOL and BADASS for the sake of it so more people will play them or something. None of the other classes come remotely close to this over the top at all and it's a bit silly in comparison to everyone else. (though I'm not sure about the other classes in WotLK, esp. if that Rogue shit is like anime styled where they teleport to hit 6 different people or whatever the fguck.)

So do the death knights actually LOOK undead yet? It's kind of weird how they look like anyone else considering they are pretty much corpses!

At this point in Beta, the Death Knights voices are still the same. Death Knights are reanimated bodies... not necessarily undead.

When you start off the whole starting point of the Death Knight is amazing. I guess the only point of playing through the Burning Crusade is to level... So unfortunately, you have to play through the Burning Crusade to do that. (And to play with new skills, etc.)

Also, some of the Oldworld content is pretty interesting too. Even the most uninteresting things are now interesting. For example, the Ruins of Dalaran.
