Fighting a gay rare spawn elite dragon in the Alterac Mountains. If you have been JUMPED BY THIS DUDE before, you can understand that he's kind of like Stitches in that he is plenty harder than his level would indicate! I also wasn't wearing any fire-resistance gear and he has this FIRE BREATH that does 200-400 damage several times in a row, so.

And of course, he dropped a green Huntsmans Crotchpiece of the Dolphin which I sold to a vendor for maybe 2 silver. Fun times!

So I tried to solo MC attunement this morning. I don't really plan on doing Molten Core ever, but I figured doing the attunement quest solo as a warrior would be a pretty fun challenge!

GOD WHAT THERE ARE THREE DOORS FUCK THIS SO BAD. I only came in with 2! After a little bit of reading up on it though, I found out you can get to Incendius' chamber through the Dark Iron Highway. Man, that was INCREDIBLY TENSE. I died twice, and on the third time, some big group of dudes actually moved away from their spot while a fireguard was coming up behind me, and I managed to SQUEEZE through.


I took this screenshot mainly because I was all thinking MAN DID I REALLY JUST WALK THROUGH THERE?!?


This part was easy peasy. I ran straight down the hallway, aggroed the last two, and then jumped onto the rock at the base of Incendius' chamber to bandage (or eat, since I learned on my second attempt that you leave combat if you sit there long enough). I turned on nameplates so I could see those dicks hiding in the magma. The magma itself actually wasn't a huge problem! I have roughly 4000 HP, and it took off 500 per tick, but sometimes it didn't seem to damage me at all if I crossed certain spots quickly enough (and jumped around lots).

I was literally yards away from the core fragment here. Apparently there's a significant difference between the aggro radius of a level 58 and a level 60!

I'm definitely going to give it another go tomorrow, this time with the CORRECT AMOUNT OF CHARGES so I don't fuck up and waste my invisibility potions in the Dark Iron Highway again.
