So I found this CD in my bro's old room, after he moved out, and I listened to it and it was the BEST thing I had heard in a LOOONG time.

It's Fat Freddy's Drop - Based on a True Story

If you EVER get a chance to listen to this band. TAKE IT. There kinda Dub/Reggae/Soul/and a whole bunch of other good shit.

Also, if anyone HAS heard of them, and JUST SO HAPPENS to have any of their music on VYNIL, I would do anything for it. Really.

This topic could have used a little more information on the band, they are a New Zealand group and they are the shit. Here are some vids for the interested, we have a pretty good scene for this type of soul dub stuff:

Most people who live in New Zealand, and the NZ people on this forum like myself, Afura and others will know about Fat Freddy's Drop. They have some good songs.
