...How the hell is it that a site like GW doesn't even have this thread... Maybe I missed it?

Anyways, I thought maybe I would add it since I wasn't sure where to introduce myself, ANYWAYS:

I'm Myersguy. I have known of GW for a hell of a long time, it's just I never really felt like joining it. Finally I decided I would give it a go and see how it is. I love making signatures, and other graphics of the like. I am also slowly getting into music composition. I am quite intelligible with computers, so hopefully I can help with any problems people have with that sort.

If you ever want a sig made, or need help with a computer, never fear pming me. I like to help (as long as I'm not looking down a list of 2000 requests...)

Yeah for some inexplicable and stupid reason they deleted the Welcomes and Farewells board.

Anyway, Welcome! It's always good to have more artists and music people. And some people were afraid that the music board was dying ... tsk.

Well, hopefully I will be posting a lot!

As for the music question, I pretty much just pump out what comes to mind, and for the most part, it sounds pretty decent. I haven't actually recorded a whole lot of it though, mostly since the computers I currently have aren't very good with the high end VSTi's. Oh well.

it wasn't dumb. while the absence of the forum ensures we'll end up with one or two of these every so often, we discovered w&f was more of an "if you build it they will come" forum. topics that were just boring welcomes got boring replies, and topics by adbots or idiots often got more notice. it was basically a spam forum but with the vague purpose of posting "hi" to each other.

just cause tehre are more musical pepole doesn't mean the board isn't dying.... >_>

also, i have to agree that the w&f topic had a pretty high concentration of shitty posts. it was also a good excuse for people to be like "SO LONG SUCKERS!!" then come back in a week...

I think that W&F shouldn't of been deleted it was a pretty straight forward way of introducing yourself and notifying people you were leaving instead of someone posting in the resource section "HI IM NEW HERE LOL SUP GUYS"

That's true, and I don't think most of them stick around anyways because I never see them post again? As for farewells I'd honestly forget who even left after five minutes so.
