so everyone can make a good sonic game except sonic team.  why am i not surprised.

fuck it.  making my own sonic game here.  it will consist of hardened turd on a stick and you have to swing it as hard as possible.  ign will give it a 7.1.

"The Sega Mega Drive (メガドライブ, Mega Doraibu?) is a 16-bit video game console released by Sega in Japan in 1988, North America in 1989, and the PAL region in 1990. Mega Drive was the name used in Japan and Europe, while it was sold under the name Sega Genesis in North America,"

unless you don't get it Alec, Mega Drive == Genesis

Sonic 2, 3, and Sonic & Knuckles will always remain my favorite Sonic games of all time...

And if it wasn't the Master System, it was probably the first Genesis model. There were 3 and the first one looks like this:

Genesis is the american version of the Mega Drive. Everywhere except the US its called megadrive, but the copyright pixies made them change the name in america. Also I think they mucked up the design or something in america (just like how the US version of the SNES looks absolutely horrendous compared to everywhere else)

Also the Mastersystem Sonic games were madeafter the Mega Drive ones. Kinda like how games are still comming out for the PS2.

i am talking about the genesis which is also known as the megadrive. you're probably referring to the master system which is sega's 8-bit console and competitor to the nes. please do your research before posting
