I don't think it would be this bad if they had any acting or BEING FILMED experience. They just don't, and it really shows. They are very awkward with a camera pointing at them.
I don't know the two other guys but I am guessing they did mostly audio stuff before like Yahtzee does. Yahtzee is very entertaining when he just talks, hes funny, but he is not used to having to back up his speech with body language. He is doing this exactly as if it was just another recording of his zero punctuation videos, he just talks, and he freezes and its awkward.
They're like cartoonists who suddenly decide to take up professional acting or something: they figure that as the two skills are somewhat related, if they're good with one they will do the other just fine. But they're wrong and it looks pretty bad!

They could eventually become better after they do things like this for a while, they'd prolly become more comfortable with a camera ,  but its just not going to work right now. They're shy and awkward. What would work is if they gave themselves "characters" of sorts and saw this more like acting rather than seeing it like a SERIOUS YET EDGY REPORT. They'd prolly be less COMICALLY SHY if they weren't trying to be "themselves" at all.

I don't really understand all that RAGE against Yahtzee though, I think his videos are pretty funny, and his games pretty cool. Is there something horrible he did that I missed?

Wow, I had to look up ED and Rule 34 and everything. Encyclopedia Dramatica is a steaming pile of feces, but it's sometimes the only place to look to find information on memes that no one else really cares about. For instance, reading the article on card crusher was quite entertaining (for the actual source, and links to knockoffs, not the godawful writing about everything else).
