there's a lot of chefboyardeeafroelectros on here, but there is a lot of this neat music that is somewhere between electro, techno, and rap in it too. some of them (like rappin' and rockin' the house) are very clearly rap, but others, like al-naafiysh, future, illuminated displays, and others fall in this sort of ambiguous in-between space that is neat to listen to. you can click the linked titles above for some examples of what you're getting yourself into!!! i also tried to keep most of the artists "mainstream" (there's no real ELECTRO MAINSTREAM except maybe uh, africa bambaataa, kraftwerk, and cybotron but w/e) so they'd be easier to find if you like it by them.

i spent like an hour and a half making it. i went through all my afroelectros and picked out the ones i thought were the best/easiest for beginners (newbies to the afroelectro genre (noobs)). i am really pleased with this mixtape. also i keep saying afroelectros but that's not the only thing this mixtape is! it's a whole lot of stuff, but it's sort of centered around afroelectros!!

afro electros is here to stay. also look at that. there aren't even any afroelectros in my top 50. probably not even my TOP 100 (i'm not going to check), but i think it's that most of these artists only have like 2 songs and i don't feel like listening to them 100 times.
