All of them are shit. But uh, Game Ideas was really bad, worse than the rest, I think. Even Crap Shack. Worse than Game and Demo. If you think G&D is worse, you've never been in Game Ideas.

Yeah, I'm changing my vote to game ideas because I just had a look at it again and jesus christ. At least G&D sometimes gets a Hima game or something.

I modded it for years and G&D is worse.

Seriously at least GI&D got an occasional discussion topic that generated some decent replies. Mostly it was BAD STORY IDEAS but a small amount of discussion occasionally took place. Pretty much nothing intellectually worthwhile is ever said in G&D.

honestly the zoo being down for the entire year makes it easily the most useless forum up there, but probably not the worst. w&f was just lame, music and feedback don't deserve to be up there, and pile of feces is a waste of a vote. it's between g&d (there's a forum culture in g&d, come on), post 9/11 (for reasons I've outline elsewhere), and the CS for me. Q&A had that hilarious safari goku topic. in retrospect I feel bad for calling him so dumb but in further retrospection no not really.

I voted w&f because no matter what, it was never anything other than "Oh hi I'm some guy thats gonna disappear after a week. maybe i'll come back who knows noone will remember me"

OR its "oh im sorry guys but i'm leaving forever ive had enough of all this elitist shit i guess i'm just not good enough for GW"

G&D has a reputation for containing a subcommunity of RM2k3 users who do not venture outside its confines. It doesn't help that the games they actually produce are rather consistently crappy, and there is barely the slightest hint of critical commentary on its games.

I don't understand why someone would nominate Music. It may not be great, not the best, but it's one of the better ones, I think.

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.
