don't want to derail this, but this is a pretty normal thing to do!! certain styles of dressing really DO conveniently fit into stereotypes, you can't honestly tell me you don't/have never done this

i tend to guess at how wealthy strangers are by sight and then the way i treat them is a function of how wealthy they appear

I mean I know everyone does it, yeah. Its a part of life. Even I see people fitting stereotypes or weird trends and think "man those is some shit clothes". But to actually see someone wearing some stupid clothes and be like "I already hate that guy" is an assholish thing to do.
