Is there another topic for this somewhere? I could have sworn he said he had alcohol and drugs visible in this topic, unless that was a sarcastic remark. I am going to reread the topic, sorry for not having the facts straight and just making more confusion.
But the point still stands that you couldn't have been so concerned for your own safety if you chose to drive shortly after having used a drug known to make driving dangerous. I can only imagine you weren't apologetic or polite when dealing with the officer, so I'm not entirely sure why you would expect him to be so concerned for you. Besides that it's not cops jobs to be nice, it's their job to protect innocent people from others who are potentially hazardous.
I took a bar of xanax when I got home at 10pm or so and then got a call a little over an hour later and got a case of beer (for someone else) and drove it down the road to them because I did not feel the xanax and haven't for the past three days of taking it.
There were no drugs in my car or I would've most certainly gone to jail. I had not been drinking and the beer was in an unopen case and I was of age so he couldn't really do anything about that. He DID ask me if I've been smoking pot like five fucking times and searched my pockets, which leads me to believe he was looking for drugs on me.
I was acting as polite as someone in my situation would have acted but I know he could tell I was pretty pissed off but he let me go after giving me a field sobriety test which I apparently passed.
heres a tidbit of info I found out at some point and just recently remembered: When you're taking the field sobriety test the officer isn't really looking for you to be agile or anything like that, they're looking to see if you sway back and forth and if your eyeballs tremble a certain way or are unfocused, something like that. Thats why they have you follow their fingers with your eyes back and forth without moving your head.
So having being able to do all of that because I wasn't intoxicated I could have pretty much walked the line and done that shit and then belly flopped on the ground and legally there isn't very much he could've done about it.
I know I pretty much interrupted this thread and I should have made the original topic neater and with more concise information in it but I was venting more than anything and I should have put it in p/911 or somewhere else where it wouldn't have gotten locked so fast. Maybe I wouldn't have come off as a moron so quickly.
I don't like people calling me a dumbass redneck when in my opinion it was undeserved and I couldn't even explain what I was talking about and had to sit there and read two people who don't even know what they're talking about call me a reckless piece of shit when in fact I am the total opposite. And even though I might make these lifestyle choices, I do my best not hurt anyone else through them or do anything that might involve someone else getting hurt despite what some more stuck up people might think.
