the domain will still be gamingw.net, it's just that the physical server GW will be hosted on is going to be changed. no one will notice anything beyond the downtime when the switch is made. i am guessing it will happen in a few days. anyway once of us will post saying FORUM GOING DOWN with about 12 hours of notice so do not fret. the forum was down earlier today to integrate the recent main page articles on the forum index.

Last night while browsing the forum it seem to have shut down on me and all I got when I tried entering the forums was a message which said this site had been hacked and is being held hostage... wasnt sure if it was real or a joke by the admins while fixing up the site, so was wondering if it was something which was put there while you guys switched over the servers maybe?

Ok so what exactly is the function of this server change? More bandwidth? Faster? ETC?

Um... how do you remember that? lol, I can even remember the url anymore...

In the meanwhile, I did just create a Google Group called GW Down instead so that people can meet up there in case both the forums, site, and IRC go down.
