NEW YORK (CNN) -- At least nine protesters were arrested in a pro-Palestinian rally Sunday afternoon in New York that injured seven police officers, authorities said.The extent of injuries varied from minor to serious, New York police said. Two officers sustained head injuries.

JERUSALEM --  Israel on Monday banned Arab political parties from running in next month's parliamentary elections, drawing accusations of racism by an Arab lawmaker who said he would challenge the decision in the country's Supreme Court.

I haven't followed this that much but it's a pretty scary that this will probably not end until one of the sides has been levelled down to the ground. I mean both sides seem to pretty much be thinking that unless someone wins, every damn rocket they've fired was in vain.
