Thinking back, there really weren't any awkward melodramatic moments in the last episode.

Angel's
That was part of the show since way back when Six kept telling Baltar she was an angel of God. I think a lot of people are getting pissed off about these words being literal all this time and they just can't fathom that the show would actually have supernatural beings in it after all this time, but it's really the one explanation that makes sense with everything.

I'm not really bothered by it. I just think if you've got a show where you've got faster than light space travel, sentient machines and synthetic humans it's kind of a cop out having to explain a lot of the long standing plot questions with god who hates being called god in the last episode. THat's weak and I bet it only happened because the lead writer (Moore?) is gay for jesus. He wants to fuck a jesus.

It was a good enough finale though I enjoyed it.

SPOILERZ SPOILERS SPOILERZZZZ

That was a great final episode. Yeah so it turns out there wasn't any GREAT mystery - Kara wasn't actually Daniel, she was just an Angel. And the whole Opera house thing only applied to a very specific situation where Hera would be in danger. I agree it was basically the best they could've done given the sheer weight of the MYTHOS at this point. I kind of saw the whole FINAL TWIST as the episode was wrapping up but it was still a coo ending. I guess it makes sense that a show all about cycles starts with a great premiere (33, first ep of season 1 i mean) and ends with a great finale.

farewell... sweet Galactica....
WHY SO SERIOUS HAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA
