Has anyone heard of this show? I just watched two episodes of it on adult swim (Maths and Water) but I honestly don't remember the last time I laughed so much. It actually brought me to tears.

It is a short comedy show originally on BBC that spoofs British educational videos.

Quote
In the first series, the episodes both satirised and paid homage to 1970s and early 1980s educational films and schools programmes, with a different scientific subject being discussed in each episode, or "module" as they are called in the series.

Maths:

These are the only two episodes that Ive seen, but I'm searching for the rest of them right now. I haven't seen the second season is like, but from what I've read it is a different format.

You know, I feel like I've heard about this and maybe even seen it once but if I have I don't remember it.  Either way, I'll definitely give it a look!

Yes, it's brilliant. Much love. Also, this is the best Peter Serafinowicz I have ever seen (from his show, the aptly named Peter Serafinowicz Show):

aaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaha!

I saw this topic yesterday and was like WHATS HE ON ABOUT but then later watched the same two episodes of it on Adult Swim that you saw and it was really funny!  I liked it a lot.  The boiling egg part, man; my brother and I were dying.

Just downloaded and watched the first series. These guys are incredible. Reminds me a bit of certain segments of the Tim & Eric show, except this is a lot more subtle and scientific. Sulphur was my favorite.

man I did not laugh at either of these to the degree you guys are talking about. the second also seemed way funnier than the first but that's probably because it was more Tim and Eric than the first.

british comedy basically

it's not meant to be anything like what tim and eric do really

nah that part with the THANTS/BLANTS and the guy being constantly burned is a little tim and eric. this is not surprising as tim and eric is 90% parody!

tim and eric would totally draw it out and try and add their trademark surrealism

in look around you most of the jokes like that are really quick and you can often miss some of them if you're not paying attention. ie. "april the 4th of september" in maths. even when theyre obvious they never dwell on it and continue on as if nothing ever happened.

well there's already a bit of surrealism but w/e point taken there is no STRETCHED OUT stuff I guess.

still I wonder if I am HUMOR RETARDED because idk I never really laughed let alone bust a gut and everyone else is clearly gushing over it! maybe this is my 30 Rock...

also your vid isn't available in the US.

like this clip you posted i find a lot funnier than the ones ASE posted probably because im a big gay babby and i like whats going on here. did i ox you...

in a related note this is one of gw's favorite animes I found this while looking for this show on adultswim's site: http://www.adultswim.com/americaloveslists/cg_sexmoments/index.html

british comedys are really good but they love their laugh tracks. i'm pretty sure black books had one and so did father ted, but tim and eric have a foley artist that used to work for nickelodeon or something

also i'm not sure how many people have seen/heard of it i think it's big in britain, peep show. it's fantastic.
