He means lag from a far away match between two guys in North America is good enough but still kinda meh, and that lag in a NA / Europe match is godawful.

Oh, and as for recording, you can download a hack for Brawl that basically lets you eliminate the 3 minute limit for recording matches. Get that set up and just save the matches to an SD card.
