I saw Deerhoof at a community centre in Nottingham a few years ago. It really was one of the most enjoyeable shows I've been to.

$40 is nothing to see MBV live. I'd nab that ticket immediately if they were playing anywhere around here which unfortunately is not the case. I remember the first set of reunion shows sold out quite fast and the tickets ended up selling on ebay for 2-3 times the original price.

yeah I am pretty pissed i couldn't see them because i had an exam the day they came here like half a year ago. i only heard amazing things about the show

dude that's a great deal. i saw ben folds totally on accident once last summer and he is really fun live. lupe is coo too

I saw Peter Bjorn and John in Berlin on saturday. It was good fun, but the songs they played from their new album (which I hadn't heard before then) paled in comparison to the stuff from Writer's Block.

Saturday I saw Longing For Dawn with Aun and Hyena Hive. Aun was really interesting dark ambient, Hyena Hive was ubber boring and Longing were just godly. Next show I'm going to is probably Mayhem + Marduk in june

oh yeah sisters of mercy concert was pretty awesome (that was a week ago) and im going to see this will destroy you in 5 days (it will probably not be that great since i'm not really into them anymore and post-rock live doesn't sound very exciting but it was only 6 euros) and already bought tickets to meshuggah which will be in 2 weeks. can't wait for that.
