Charlie Brooker is a journalist for the guardian who writes a column called "
Screen Burn" which is a satirical pisstake on television in the past week - pretty much a rock solid rant that's hilarious and totally worth getting the guardian on a saturday for. This eventually evolved into a TV show called screen wipe, crossing the media from newspaper to tv and becoming 10x funnier. This week there's the first ever news wipe which is a further evolution of the concept, exploring the methods that news channels use to make the news more dramatic but it's presented in a way that makes it seem a lot funnier.
He also wrote this article about David Cameron (leader of the conservative party)
