I just moved over the mySQL db to complete the move.

There will probably be some slowdowns as I optimize mySQL for these forums but just hold on tight

If you notice anything odd though, let me know.

Okay. Not sure if this qualifies as odd but for the last hour or so (since I woke up) pages would load at very random speeds if at all, giving me a 504 error if it didn't.

Yup, I noticed that too. The forums combined with the other sites on the server can't seem to handle everything. No problem as I can scale my server very easily, which I will probably do this weekend so things should greatly improve

Database has been moved over to its own machine to reduce the load. Hopefully it survives nicely and the site stops crashing!!

It was a RM2k/3 resource database -- chipsets and all that. Since the whole website kind of CHANGED DIRECTION those don't seem very important anymore, not to me at least.
